Geographical Processes
The Geographical Processes that effect Savanna Biomes are regular wildfires, wind erosion, deforestation and desertification
The regular wildfires often occur because of the human use of fire and during the wet season if lightning strikes the grasslands igniting it. The wind erosion is caused by the harsh winds blowing around the Savannah, causing the climate to be arid and ruining the farming and vegetation. Deforestation is caused by Humans cutting down trees and the wildfires burning all the trees down. Desertification is caused because most Savannahs are next to deserts, causing them to slowly turn into deserts themselves. |
